i have been doing a lot of cleaning around here today and i have a bunch of pretty laces/trims that i'd love to share with people here. i usually buy them in bulk from the thrift store and definitely don't need all of it! i used to love, back when i was a part of about.com scrapbooking site, the 34cent swaps (yea, that long ago) where you would fill an envelope and send them out for the cost of a postage stamp, so i was thinking since i'm broke, but i do have a few stamps, i'd love to send out some envelopes of pretty laces/trim.

getting crafty (finally!)

so yesterday i forced myself to sit down and scrap. it's been a lonnng time and i wanted to get the scrapjacked for february done in advance in case i'm too lazy to do it as time gets closer. i am happy to report that i did my scrapjacked and LOVE it (whee - ut you can't see it yet!) and that you are all gonna love who we're jacking next time ;) but just a reminder, you still have time to do this month's scrapjacked!!

i also finally finished a page that i had started like forever ago and got thrown aside.

also, started a huge canvas for the babe's room. my hope is that the babe will have lots of handmade art in her room (hint, hint, my friends!) and so i figured i must contribute to that.... and i am so excited because my best friend (who is SO not a crafter) has told me that she is making something for the babe's room! yay!

in other news, there are over 100 people a day reading this blog. who the heck are you all?

- i am finally starting to participate in scrapjacked again! please go check out the newest jack!!! and please excuse the fact that mine looks like crap on the site. i'm obviously having issues with the new version of photoshop i have.

- i go on maternity leave/disability starting tomorrow. had a few scary things this weekend and the doctor thought it'd be best. i'm fine, though, and so is the baby! strong heartbeat. lots of movement.

- i am taking a leave of absence from entre artistes. celine has been so patient with me, but life has overtaken everything else.

- the baby's nursery is 99% done!!! my mom and i worked really hard this weekend and it looks amazing. photos to come.

to new beginnings...

this will certainly be a year of new beginnings for me and hopefully some endings, as well :) i started off the new beginnings already with a new supervisor at work. let's just say... i don't like change :(

i don't have much to say... it's been sort've crazy/insane/rough around here.... but i do have two pages to share and a photo!

first, the photo..... i went to PortraitBug last week with the fabulous Amy and was lucky enough to have Kim do an impromptu photo shoot of the bump. Got some great shots. Here's one of my favorites.

If you are in NYC, you have to check the store out. It's set up SO cool (by color!) and is really such eye candy to be in! Plus, obviously, they do amazing portraits if your'e looking!

the bump's getting bigger by the day. the babe's moving a LOT. kicking me a lot. making it hard to breathe! LOL. sleeping has become a very difficult task.

while at PB with Amy, I also got a few pages done..... amazing! haha! and I actually like them!
